#DIY Therapeutic Aromatherapy Markers

If you see kids wondering around with coloured dots under their nose....this is why!

Some of Gracie's mates, heard I had "Smelly Markers" and as they smelt them, they loved the smell so much that they literally put in under their nose. First it was a sniff, as they recognised and loved the smell, the marker got closer.......then it happened! They were trying to smell it more and inadvertently stuck it right under their nose, touching their skin...to really smell! It was the funniest thing, a group of kids with various colour dots under their noses.

I wanted a way to get kids to be able to use the benefits of Aromatherapy, whilst I was out and about. Sometime adventures to restaurants, the doctors for Gracie can be overwhelming (and no I don't have a portable diffuser lol). Grace has asked me it we can just bring a diffuser with us - ummmm cant happen!

So the alternative was to use a strategy that already calmed her, kept her occupied but gave her the benefits of Aromatherapy.

That is how the #DIY Aromatherapy Markers were created.

It takes up little space in my handbags, most places have paper. I've even given her a magazine to draw mustaches and beards on the models (couldn't find paper). If I have all three kids, they do argue over the colours. But that is short lived.....

They all love to sit quietly and draw with these markers. Just be mindful they smell so nice, you may have children with hundreds of little coloured dots under their nose....
