Time Out Tea

Its "Time Out Tea" recipes that include both Essential Oils and Tea. The benefits of tea are mentioned below and Essential Oils contain various chemical compounds which can react with the organs and cells positively. Teas infused with Essential Oils, along with better dietary and exercise patterns, can contribute to disease prevention and better health.

Essential Oils are transported through the intestines, directly into the blood, where it is then transported through the body. Plant based Essential Oils are a highly concentrated natural compound which gives plants there taste and smell. Many Essential Oils are used internally to promote healthy cell function, help the immune system and offer cleansing benefits. Be mindful to only use 100% pure Certified Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils.

A legend was created in 2737BC, when leaves from a Camellia sinensis plant fell into Emperor Shennongs cup of boiling water. Since then teas has been associated with many health benefits not limited to assisting with metabolism, relaxing, digestion, boosting immunity and heart health and for many modern day ailments.

Drinking green tea was associated with lower total cholesterol, LDL and triglycerides, and higher HDL (the "good" cholesterol) levels. There are many types of teas which have specific properties.

Cancer and Tea.

An Australian study was completed into the effects of drinking tea and ovarian cancer risks. The 2010 study found that women who drank tea reduced risks. A recent study found some chemicals in teas slowed the growth of prostate cancer (Victorian Government, 2012).

  • reduce the spread of cancer to other parts of the body (metastasising)

  • slow down the growth of the cancer

  • reduce the likelihood of cancer developing in the first place.”

Heart Disease and Tea

The Japanese research suggests that green tea reduces LDL and may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. One European studies found that the risk of heart disease was 36 percent lower for tea drinkers. Polyphenols in tea have a mild anti inflammatory action and may reduce activity of platelets, which are a blood clotting agent.
